Physics of Fluids is proud to sponsor annual travel grants for students

Recipients of 2009 travel awards have been announced by the Division of Fluid Dynamics of the American Physical Society.  Eleven of these awards—for students traveling to the Division's 62nd Annual Meeting in Minneapolis—have been funded by Physics of Fluids, in commemoration of its 50th anniversary.  Physics of Fluids will continue its financial support for these awards in the coming years.  Recipients were chosen by the Division’s External Affairs Committee, with preference given to undergraduate and graduate student presenters.  The grant money, totaling USD10,000, was divided among the 11 selected students.  Physics of Fluids and its community of authors, reviewers, editors, and staff—along with its publisher, the American Institute of Physics—congratulate the 2009 recipients listed below:
